Here's the thing.
A lot of us are sharp enough to point out cognitive mistakes a coach may make at the end of the game, but how many of us could gain the respect of 53 professional athletes, deal with front office personnel and ownership, field about 200 completely stupid, sinister-oriented, controversy-provoking questions every week, and then out-strategize another coach who's been drawing up x's and o's for the last 30 years.
Yeah, they do some stupid shit every week, but I doubt any of us could deal with the shit they put up with for 2 days.
And, of course, they would go crazy and blow half your bankroll in the same time trying to make money betting. And they would sit around picking apart our plays, shaking their heads over a couple of our losing plays that were obvious to almost every coach in the NFL as a ridiculously stupid pick.
