Early Pac-10 Plays

mr netto, wouldnt it be a better bet if we get ASU +3 on sat? i can see this happening
mr netto, wouldnt it be a better bet if we get ASU +3 on sat? i can see this happening
I'm on Washington for a variety of reasons and feel a play on ASU at +3 is the right way to play it if you are on the ASU side. I'm on the Husky side and laid pick'em. I have no intentions of playing back unless some really stupid line move happens but net/net I'm keeping my ticket in my pocket and let the chips fall where they may...
UW at pickem is great. Husky Stadium will be insane at night. Fans around here are fired up after last weekend. I guarantee Threet has never been in such an atmosphere.
Bob on Zona as speculated. Hope it lands 7 or 8.
Line is now 7 and if you still think this goes to 10 or 10 1/2 could be a good middle. What are your current thoughts??
long term you go broke trying to middle college, usually if you bet something midweek for good money and it moves 2' to 3pts - can come back maybe with 1/3 of your orig wager on other side to reduce risk and your still left with a decent bet...
mr netto, looks like that WASHINGTON bet is looking better for tonite ... why not USC +10.5 ?
mr netto, looks like that WASHINGTON bet is looking better for tonite ... why not USC +10.5 ?
Not sure what you mean by the "washington bet" but I think USC is a trap side. I passed on the game and commented on another post as to my reasons...
i was talking about 364 Washington Pick'em -1.05 over ASU - 2 Unit (I made the game 2.5) i see your point about USC...but everyone said the same thing when UCLA got slaughtered by Stanford... and came out smokin vs hou, and TX...and NO ONE was willing to back em in either of those spots... yet they won.. im just trying to stay AHEAD of these things rather than say " wher was i on that ....??" afterwards
Again, UCLA's victories over Texas and (especially) Houston were deceptive. They didn't even have 300 yds vs the Longhorns, and Houston was down two quarterbacks. It's not to take away from your original point, but UCLA is not an applicable example for it.
I didn't make a play either way...So if you did by all means good luck with your selection...
