Eight of Clubs - Questions - clarification Please

Eight of Clubs - Questions - clarification Please In a thread Started by Fezzik on 10/08/09, there was a great discussion on the "Eight of Clubs". Many excellent Points (one cut from a reply from Mobile Bandit below). Fezzik Stated to use the College Totals from Late Wednesday or Thursday to avoid fading steam from the Big Dogs posting Wednesday evenings. Key Points: In College - Fade Large Favorite Moves (Bet Dogs) - Fade Large Over Moves (Bet Under) Questions: Do the same principles apply to the NFL? When or what lines would you use to fade the NFL moves? Fezzzz says use Wed Night / Thur for college - Same for NFL?) Would you ever use the same principle in reverese for college or NFL? Ie. Public pushes favorite line down or Public pushes total down significantly?? Any insight from the sharps would be greatly appreciated. Below cut from original thread from Fezzik dated 10/08/09... ***************************************** Eight of Clubs -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Print out the Pinnacle lines on Tuesday night after the totals are posted and then on Saturday morning, bet against any Favorite for which the line has moved 2 or more points higher than its opener and bet on the Under for any Total that has moved 2 or more points higher on the Over. So you're always either betting the Dog or the Under. It works just about every week!
In the NFL, I believe you only need one point of movement -- not two.
Joel, I appreciate the feedback. Still leaves me a few unanswered questions. Any feedback from those "in the know" would be greatly appreciated. #1.) NFL - When and where do we look for movement from opening lines? Obvioulsy, we want to avoid moves driven by the Big Dogs. When is the best time to look to avoid this? #2.) Can the principle be used in reverse movement? Fade large Dog moves - Bet Favorite? Fade large under moves - Bet over? #3. If question two answers are yes, college point swing the same? Over two/points? Again, I appreciate the opportunity to be here to learn. Thank you in advance for your anticipated response.
For 2) the answer is no. Of course there are exceptions, but anything with a 55% success rate, or whatever it is, is obviously going to have situations that don't jive with it.

Thanks again Joel! How about question #1. Best day of week / time to monitor NFL lines for movement?
Print NFL totals on W or TH am Sun 1 hour to kickoff, FADE any 2 point moves.
when does pinny put up totals later tonite? I just checked not up yet
Sun 1 hour to kickoff, FADE any 2 point moves.
Thanks Mr Fezzik! Exactly the info I was looking for in regards to the NFL side. Greatly appreciated. Best of luck this FB season.
Sun 1 hour to kickoff, FADE any 2 point moves.
What about 2 point moves on sides? Just totals?
if the home team moves two points, take the road team. the only exception might be if a game moved from 7'-9' because 8 and 9 are pretty worthless.
