Fez Week9 Thread, 1st 4 weighted College Play

Proverb
I have my own models that I now use but as I was developing the models the last thing I wanted was someone saying just play so and so. No matter how good they were, if they passed away tomorrow or stopped providing picks, I was no better off for the long run. In my mind, you want someone who provides an education into why they are playing something. Getting this knowledge serves you well for the long run because if you learn enough, you won't need them any more. Use this site to learn the fundamentals for becoming a winner not to get picks that may or may not win this year. Help yourself for the long run. You'll be much better off.
Sounds like give a man a fish and he will eat today; teach him to fish and he will eat tomorrow. :)
CharlieJ, have you looked at 2H totals? I can't beat NFL totals, but I've been hammering 2H CFB totals. Any thoughts on these? It's like the sportsbooks don't even look at the 1H.
Sean: Thanks for the suggestion. It definitely has some merit. My dilemma is that I am a slow, methodical handicapper (which probably frustrates Fezz). If I tried to handicap CFB second half totals, it would take away from my time in the NFL, NBA and NHL.Fezz has suggested ( on a weekly basis) that I concentrate only on NBA totals at this time. We were able to beat the opening numbers on CFB totals in Sept, but the number of plays in Oct has become greatly diminished. It also coincides with the period when we have totals posted in the NFL, NBA,NHL and CFB. These are the only four sports that I handicap. During the early CFB season, I rely on Fezz to handle halftime totals wagering.I trust his judgment 100%. My handicapping skills are limited to totals on only four sports. There are definitely disadvanages to being a "one trick pony." However, when I have tried to broaden my handicapping options, it has proved to be an expensive experiment. charliej
