Fezz, place Raheem Morris in your list of idiot coaches... Down by only 3 and with a chance to go into the half down by only a FG and some "hope" to pull off the upset here is the setup... 2 minutes left in 1H. N.O. with only 1 timeout. TB with ball at own 25 yard line. 2nd down and 10. Going into a 15 MPH wind. Do they run twice and go into half? Of course not. They throw 2 straight incompletions, run 10 seconds off clock, punt into the wind to N.O. and 4 plays later N.O. scores a TD on 4 straight completions. Go into half with a 10 point lead and all the momentum. Where do they find these idiots?
And just like that.... Blowout city. You would think these idiots would learn from watching Miami's self destruction against the Saints (started by another similiar end of 1H idiot decision).... Teams give up when they play there ass off for an entire half only to see their coach make a horrendous decision and force them to trail by 2 scores going into half.
Looks like Harbaugh just won the pool this week
Raheem did the right thing IMO No good options for him in this matchup.

Not often but........
No good options for him in this matchup.
Completely disagree with you Fezz. He may not have had many options going into the game.... but at that point, he had a situation that was manageable and he blew it big time.... not that they would have won the game but at the very least they would have had a little bit of confidence going into the half.
TB was not going to win the game. Why not actually try and go for it and do something? What have you got to lose? Your team is 1-8, why not actually let Freeman loose and see what happens? Playing it safe is for guys like Dick Jauron who punt from the opponents 30
