Fezzik Fez now that the schedule is out what do you do next
Wait for Teddy Covers season win totals.
LOL, I think I'm pretty damn capable of dissecting NFL schedules and season wins FOCUS PEOPLE!! Pick up on things like 1. the 'home' team in England plays 9 road games? 2. Who has to play 3-4 teams off byes, not a good thing 3. What West Coast team goes East the most? 4. Who gets the non Ben Steelers weeks 1-6? 5. Who gets screwed by getting paired with the AFC South, NFC South, NFC East? 6. Who gets the cupcake AFC W? Anyone starting a rookie qb? Sure, Balt and Atl did great in 2008.......but for every Joe Flacko (sp?) there is a Ryan Leif x3. Remember, Elway STUNK early in his career.
Peyton's rookie season was also quite forgettable, for example. But yes, this list is a great basic strategy list to consider. The names change, but the situations don't.

Fade Socio Economically struggling cities without recent past histories of success. Ok, Pittsburgh and GB aren't going to spit out the next 10 Forbes 100 companies, but they are a great winning organizations. However, the LOSING companies (teams) in economically depressed cities are SCREWED. 1. They have less money 2. IT cost MORE money to get good free agents (Sure, the housing is cheap, but what NFL millionaire player wants to play in Detroit?) So we fade KC, Stl, Clev, Cin, and Buffalo every chance we get. Maybe the nice place to live small market cities of Sea, Denver, Minnesota and Charlotte can compete, along with small market fun place to live places like Tampa, and small market great tradition places like GB and Pit. Why is indy so damn good? Peyton Manning! We FADE this team BIG TIME in 3 years.
Not sure the AFC West is gonna be as bad as in recent years.
The Raiders admittedly had a good draft; they still have the preseason to mess it up (pick the wrong QB -- now they have four backup-caliber QBs to choose from: Russell, Gradkowski, Campbell, Boller). The Broncos have not drafted well since McDaniels got there. (Even historically they suck at drafting; Shanahan was not known for this) The Chiefs will be better, but that's not saying much. Chargers win total over and division championship seem like ski mask plays to me. I can't see the win total being higher than 10, and I think 10-6 is as close to a given as you can get. The AFC West is clearly the worst division. The NFC West was right there, but all the moves that Seattle made now give me pause.
Fezzik are you a power rating guy----if so now that draft is over when do you start your rating process
I power rate teams based on what their season win number would be if they had avg sch So for example, The Az Cards likely will be around an '8.4' with Leinart this year. Which makes them a steal -3-120 @ this Ram team that likely is 5.3, AND will get better LATER in the year. A road team with a 3 point power rating advantage should be around -5 week 1.
