You all know that I have a lot of problems with the idea of "record-keeping," so I don't want to comment directly on what Bob's doing. But I think it's very important to keep in mind that line movement is a huge factor in the value you get from these recommendations, and these picks have experienced amazing positive line movement. Hard to lose when you get that and know what to do with it.

Why do you have "a lot of problems with record keeping"? Yes we have heard you say this isn't a picks site, but is that the only reason? I would think from your end that if the prior and current records are profitable that can only increase your revenue into the LVA platform.

I don't want to get into it again, but it mostly stems from what is and isn't widely available and the perceptions of same. Different players have different numbers and levels of outs and there is no way to apply numbers across the gamut of situations. Always leads to arguments. The best way to determine if the situation if profitable for you is to keep your own results.

am I missing something being a new guy here? If Fezz, Joe Mo, or myself give out plays with our lines, what is the problem of keeping a record of how those plays did with those specific lines played? If little Johnny or Jimmy play team A at -23 and guy giving out the play listed it as -19, and the game lands on 20 that is little J7J's fault for playing is at -23 and not -19. They should have passed or live with the results. Hey what do I know.

Not everyone understands it that way. You're making an assumption that makes sense in theory but does not happen in practice.

Then someone screams that -19 was a bogus number. Trust me. I've been through this ad nauseum.

Fezz needs the documented record to try and stick it to all his naysayers, which is why he had Bob be comped. Having a profitable record would have helped end all the BS in the forums over the summer with the guys saying he can't beat anything except stale contest lines. The widely available line for his picks is not quite as strict as what SSB used which most would think is a fair policy, but none the less for small and even medium bettors it is a pretty fair way to grade the selections he has released. No one should be following anyone blind anyway and if the point of LVA is to create a group of sharp bettors than the followers will eventually learn on their own that playing Over 56.5 when he gave Over 54 isn't the right thing to do. For the posters that still dont understand that, they are likely here for recreactional purposes anyway and taking the worst of the number is part of the tax of just doing sports betting as a hobby.

Sorry, we set policy. And doing it pretty well so far as far I can see in the results.
