Fezzik: Poker vs. Sports vs. Job Hours?

Played 1-2 no limit Omaha last night with some friends. 4 times I had 2 cards in my hand that paired the board after the flop. Four times my full house didn't come through. I was playing with some loose players with about 200 apiece in front of them that they were willing to bet. I feel like I could have won a big pot if my boat came through. But it didn't. Any thoughts on calling a $20 bet after the flop and turn with the potential to win a $125-$150 pot when you know you are behind?
1-2 no limit Omaha ... 2 pair. Any thoughts on calling a $20 bet after the flop and turn to win a $125-$150 pot when you know you are behind?
Omaha is usually played pot limit because hands run close together, and people should often move in before the flop. Bottom two pair is simply a bad hand because it may be very costly to make your full house by pairing the board. Also, it's pretty obvious to opponents when this happens. Top two pair has four outs; you are roughly 10:1 to make your hand on each street. So it doesn't make sense to chase for more than 10% of your potential win. You should be able to win more than $200 though.
Great info. We don't usually bet pre-flop in Omaha. If you bet small, everyone calls. If you bet big, no one calls. A mid bet would probably be around $5 and would definitely get 4 or 5 callers. When would you suggest a pre-flop bet for this amount? Remember, these are loose players, but there isn't a lot of cash in front of anyone. $200 at the most. And these guys chase. Chase straits, flushes and they even think top 2 pair is solid, which I think is terrible in Omaha. Somebody almost always has trips. But I'm new to the game.
No reason not to play tight and wait for your hand, then, as long as they don't notice you folding all the time.

Arrggggh a LOSING STREAK 1st poker bad stretch for me........EVER!
A mid bet ... When would you suggest a pre-flop bet for this amount?
AAKK double-suited would be a good time. JT98 would also be good. Consider it anytime you get four cards ten or higher. You might get a reputation as an action player, but will build big pots where you win more than your share.
