Fezzik's approach

Fezzik's approach Right now Fezz can't pick his nose. Everyone has losing streaks, but I am concerned about the approach I'm seeing. It seems that Fezz does not believe that good teams are good and that bad teams are bad. He is winless in 4 weight selections, because they seem to be the most pitiful dogs in the league. Last week his big 4 weight had an unheralded rookie QB in his first start - on the road. This week it was a team that hasn't shown a sign of life. He compounds these with plays such as Denver, where you have another dead dog playing at the best team in the league in perfect weather. That line should have been GB-18. Miami is another lifeless bunch, traveling 3 time zones to play a resurgent San Diego. Dallas has been a choker since Romo got there, and today they were up against the most improved team in the league. Chicago, which has no pass defense was playing the best rookie QB in years. A lot of Fezzik's plays just dont pass the eye test. I know sharps lean toward dogs, but a lot of these dogs are dead. What ever happened to identifying the really bad teams early and hammering against them. In betting the stpck market, a wise saying is the trend is your friend. Look for Fezz to give out Indy tomorrow, calling it "one fine bet."
Really? Is this what it has come to? I am not sure what your point of this thread is, but I do not think it is going to benefit anyone. Hopefully you were on the other side of all of these then, if you were great. If not I do not think this is right.
If Indy moves to 11, it will be "one fine bet." Start with Stanford Wong's book on handicapping and get back to us. If you've really been here for the past 19 months, nothing that happened today should surprise you. In short, East teams traveling West don't have the issues that West teams traveling East do. Rookie QBs that start Week 1 are +EV their rookie seasons. Not sure that the market has corrected here yet. "Sharps" lean toward positive EV plays. Whether they're dogs has nothing to do with it. The only way you're going to win betting the NFL is to shoot for middles. The lines are too sharp, especially as we get into November.
Some people simply shouldn't be betting. I'm not talking about Fezzik. If bad days affect you horribly and you can't find ways to learn and adjust, then you shouldn't be betting. Unfortunately, that means you also shouldn't be here. That's not what I want. Still, I don't mind saying it.

I agree with canoehead. Fezz is not a smart handicapper. He waits all week to put out games, then at the last minute he wants you to bet big on very bad teams. that is not good handicapping! I don't mind losing if i know that my team was a good team, and that i just lost by a better team. AS much money that this site makes for fezz, he should hire a good professional handicapper and give those picks out for the players that has paid for this site! Only a bad handicapper gives out games like, purdue, mtst., vt, denver, and rams. Most good handicappers already have their lines made out for next week and when the lines come out on monday, they make their bets, and wait on line movement to change in their favor then make other bets. Successful handicappers do not consistly bet big money on BAD TEAMS!
Two naive posts by two first-time posters. Sorry, but this is pure emotion. You should think hard about whether or not this is for you. No offense. Honest.

Honest.
I agree with Anthony. Nothing that happened today in the NFL should surprise anybody. Getting on somebody for their picks really makes no sense. Your bets and your bet size are your responsibility. Money management is essential in this game.
I know sharps lean toward dogs, but a lot of these dogs are dead.
IMO dogs were great 3 to 4 years ago and back....when public money meant more. Public money means very little these days. Dogs do not have the value they once had. My 2 cents.
Fezz is not a smart handicapper.
- you are some card buddy , right if you done a few $ can understand a little but to come on here try to belittle him with a post like that...ball did not bounce right today it happens , betting at a half decent level is as much mental as it is anything else..you haveto live with the losses sometimes as uncomfortable as it may be......
Looking greatly forward to reading Carolina and Canoehead's game selections BEFORE kickoff!
