Gordon Gee, There is a reason Ohio State doesn't win academic praise......... The Ohio State President publicly would vote for the current system over a Bowl System, and thinks Ohio State is more deserving than Boise and TCU due to their 'murderous' schedule. Good grief. I gave someone else here in Vegas a tough time for feeling the same way about the playoff. Seriously, if there had never been an NCAA tourney, I can just see these old fossils supporting "NO TOURNEY!" in baskets. Can you imagine if there WAS a 8 team tourney, and someone proposed we replaced it with the current system?? ......the guy would be tarred and feathered immediately. And as long as Ohio St plays Akron/youngstown state/etc along with their annual "1 tough nonconference game" AND along with three games vs. Indiana/Purdue/NWU/Minny, I think this dinosaur is a total idiot. It's one thing to correctly exploit and take advantage of the system like the Buckeyes do, routinely getting into a championship game with the 4th best team. It's another thing to then pound your chest and call out the teams that are BETTER than you, That you Won't schedule HOME AND HOMEs with, AND memo to Ohio State........YOU GUYS STINK when playing true power teams in January.
Lets see Ohio St play Boise in a bowl, and lets make the line pick. Fine with me. Boise will pound them
I dont think so. I'd take OSU at PK with Boise. Doesn't mean I agree with the idiot president, but Boise would not kill them just like Oregon didn't last year when everyone said they would.

If Boise and TCU were so good, they would be pouring out NFL players. Last I checked, OSU and the SEC put far far far more players in the NFL. Speed is not comparable. Speed on d is what killed OR last year and would kill Boise or TCU

Just because a kid does not go to the NFL doesnt mean he cant be a great college player. Eric Crouch, Andre Ware, etc. Also, the programs and coaches can do a lot with less talent sometimes. It is still a team game.

Oregon and OU were nice wins for Boise. Georgia was a disaster loss. VT is decent but prob not a ton of NFL talent on the club. Let's leave WSU and WA out of the arguement
Boise on track to play Wisconsin in Rose bowl. Bet they will want to send a message for Wisconsin to bring back to Big 10
