Grading College Football Futures

Grading College Football Futures Guys, I have a client who bet Oklahoma regular season wins under 10 1/2. They ended the 12 game season at 10-2 so I told him he had a winner. But they won the Big 12 Championship game and the book is claiming that victory counts on the regular season total. My feeling is that it's obviously graded wrong because it wasn't a regularly scheduled game before the season started. A 12 game schedule is the most a team is allowed to play in the regular season. Am I wrong here? Is the league championship game really considered regular season as opposed to postseason?
I have ALWAYS been told that it is regular season scheduled games only. If they will not budge then he likely has an arb for years to come due to the fact that ALL of the other shops do not give you this game.
this is something that should be clearly stated by the sportsbooks, and clearly understood by the player. you can only realistically post a number on total season wins after you know how many scheduled regular season games a team is going to play. playing in the conference championship game is only a possibility. if I was holding that ticket in the state of nevada, and the sportsbook did not want to pay me, I'd be banging on the door of the NEVADA GAMING COMMISSION.

There is no way they would try to pull that crap. They also would likely have many more Over tickets that they dont want to pay.

which book? how much do you want to bet this same book graded the over as a loser?
A 12 game schedule is the most a team is allowed to play in the regular season. Am I wrong here? Is the league championship game really considered regular season as opposed to postseason?
First: 12 "regular season" games is the usual limit, however, a little known NCAA rule allows teams travelling to Hawaii for a game to schedule 13 RS games. Examples this year were USC and Nevada. Obviously, Oklahoma was limited to 12 as they did not play at Hawaii. Second: Almost all books restrict the college RSW totals to regular season wins which exclude the conference championship games. However, without knowing which book held the bet, it is impossible to know for sure what their conditions were.
My guess is 5Dimes....
which book? how much do you want to bet this same book graded the over as a loser?
I could see them grading both as losers and see who bitches. Some will, some won't, they win!
Wasn't five dimes. If it's not regraded correctly after tonight I'll mention the name of the book.
bet should be a winner
They are claiming that there was a banner on the site that said conference championship games were included. Amazingly it's nowhere to be found. I was told the supervisor said all books grade the futures this way. That's not what I've been told elsewhere. I'll wait until tomorrow for this to play out before I mention the book.
