HBO Hard Knocks: Bengals bettors

HBO Hard Knocks: Bengals bettors Anyone a little nervous about Bengals future wagers after watching the first 2 weeks of Hard Knocks? I wasn't expecting a whole lot here, but this organization just looks bad. Marvin Lewis clearly commands zero respect. He is constantly whining at the players to do things. The players could give two shits. The coaches are clueless in the meetings on how to get the WR's to quit taunting? The owner is blatantly involved in the personel decisions. Even the way they went about cutting a player was absolutely bush league compared to the other teams featured on Hard Knocks. This organization looks bad even compared to the easy going Cowboys of last season, and the dogshit Chiefs the season before that. I have Bengals over season wins. Denver under. And Bengals -1.5 vs Denver. I think a few others are in a similar situation. I will probably be scalping/middling so that a Denver win doesn't have the chance to deliver a week one gut punch. This is of course all very subjective. Watching the show after Cincy records a preseason win will help to even things out. I will say that Hard Knocks usually casts a team in a pretty positive light. If Cincy continues to look like Raiders North, it's probably not a good sign.
I thought how they cut the full back with the facial skin discoloration was TOTAL BUSH LEAGUE. Wake him up from dead sleep with a camera peeking in the door to get his reaction at getting cut? It was actually kind of weird because leading up to that point the show was exhibiting how the guy was playing pretty good and getting a lot of playing time while the single father from Wisconsin was not getting any run at all. Then the next thing you know they are cutting the poor guy. I just don't think Carson Palmer demands respect in the way that a big time NFL QB should, maybe his play dictates that. Seems like Marvin Lewis has a pretty upbeat attitude and attempts to connect to his players, I just don't think they are very good....talent wise. Chad OchoCinco is not a very smart player, doesn't take care of himself, and will always butt heads with Palmer. And the heart of the team can be illustrated by 2 simple incidents. Once being when Roy Williams let a rookie demolish him in the Oklahoma drill all the while leading up to it whining and complaining about not wanting to have to get hit. Then Roy Williams (Former Cowboy and worst 1 on 1 pass defender in NFL history) and Chris Henry get tangled up on a pass route that takes them out of bounds. As they get up Roy Williams trys to help Henry up and pats him on helmut asking if he is ok, then turns around to go back to the defensive huddle. Once Williams is completely turned around, the punk Chris Henry violently pushes him in the back to which Roy Williams takes without retaliation like the puss that he is. I thought this might be a nice turn around season for them, but unless things really show better soon....They are just plain bad. Did anyone catch the silence in that room when all the coaches were trying to explain to the owner what they need to improve on and which player were doing this and doing that, and the one older assistant coach (offensive coordinator maybe) speaks up and says "Look, we just have some areas we simply don't have the talent to match up in", "therefor we are going to have to play almost perfect if we expect to compete"....I thought Marvin was gonna fall out of his chair. The owner just dismissed the meeting. It was priceless. burg
