Hello??? Mr. Favre ISN"T COMING BACK this month Vikings 80% of the 'public' still say they expect him back! Want to know the truth about what is going on? Look to what the real large bettors are betting. The Avalanche of money on the Saints week1 speaks volumes.......

I was a piece of that avalanche, and I still think there is a good chance he does come back. I'm not "real large", but I moved Pinny close to half a point which moved 5dimes etc.. I just thought I had a pretty fair line, and maybe a 50-60%% chance Favre was not coming back, so it's a bet. I'm sure others took a similar speculative lead. The way I see the market dynamics playing out is this: Everyone has to buy the news if they get a decent price, the books have every incentive to move the line quickly, and nobody can really play back at only +6 or +6.5 Vikings yet, because they want the +7 or want some real idea that Favre is bluffing again.

I got a couple pebbles of the avalanche. Favre has been lying all his career so I then hedged back with Vikings to win SuperBowl at 20-1.

i'm part of the 80% too. he's done this before. no reason to think he wont come back at the end of August. Minny coaches and owners will do whatever they can to get him back and Brett loves the spotlight and ego stroking

source who knows Dr James Andrews, who examined Favre recently, told me Dr. Andrews said there is nothing wrong with Favres ankle. so either Favre wants to miss training camp, wants more money or maybe even doesnt want to play 16 games, but I think he is going to play
