Looking at opening numbers in the cbb totals market and then comparing them to other sports is not congruent. Many in the market will know bad numbers and will bet their pieces for dollars and nickels.
It can take only 2 dimes in the entire market to move a CBB total four or five points the first two weeks of the season.
Just because Helmut releases a play at a WA 142 does not mean you are getting the worst of the number even if it opened at 149. That 149 and the trail down to 142 may have only existed for two or three $500 bets in the entire market.
His records and results are tremendous against WA numbers. Additionally while getting the best of it is clearly VERY VERY important, there should be no reason at all if you get the plays on the countdown that you won't get the game at the number or within one number of the release. Only three games' out of the 179 outcomes were affected one point the worst of it. With a 107-72 record last season, hard to beat.
Helmut has delivered three consecutive 60% winning CBB seasons. His lifetime record is 260-174.
