High End Football Contest at M

High End Football Contest at M Got the basics today from the staff. Unlike last year where there was a cap of 30 entries for the entire contest, this year it's wide open. No limit on the number of contestants they'll allow and 100% payback. Slight increase in the entry fee however - this year it will cost 100K per contestant. OV/UN on number of entrants anyone?
15.5 Assumes they put in 100k of extra money.
You would think that they'd have to throw in some extra money but that's not what they told me. Just the 100% payback. If that's the case this seems like a poor choice to play. M holds 1M+ all year long and in the end the players have an approx 1 in 6 shot (if they pay 1st and 2nd) of being saddled with a big signer.

And also.. maybe you are playing with a couple high rolling squares, but you gotta think the competition will be significantly tougher than the smaller contests.

Can an individual do more than one entry?
Are you saying it's a $100,000 entry fee? Haven't heard about this one.
" m " contest. According to the counter people if they can get 5 or more entries they will have the contest . Or else they will scrap it .

Who is going to sign up for this?

I would guess they won't get five - who's going to sign up early and possibly get locked into a contest with four others where you are basically competing to see who gets a W2G for 500K. Negative EV for sure. They still have time to scrap this idea and restructure the contest. Make the entry 10K. That roughly aligns it with the WSOP Main Event which it appears is the type of niche they'd like to occupy among contests. Six NFL games are too many - use some college - at least throw the top 10 NCAA matchups on there and let the players use up to two of those on their six picks.
