How often do 13 NFL dogs cover on a weekend?

How often do 13 NFL dogs cover on a weekend? Just following the number moves, a couple of rogue number of plays and voila that is suddenly what I would need for a huge day. It is probably like that on many Sunday's but following along the tweet from Fez there has been strong moves on some of these plays this week yielding what looks to be stronger bets than a typical Sunday. (1) Fez has the board on Dallas +3.5 and looks like a solid bet right now. A double at least. (2) Another capper who I won't name but wouldn't be president of the Fez fan club nails the Redskins +6 with a beautiful strike. A 3 run homer. I had already played a rogue +7-120 earlier in the week and added on. I can barely contain my excitement. (3) Fez gets KC +4. It is a home run.. Back back long gone. Now under 3. A grand slam. The weight was low but rarely can one count on this type of pinball action on a play. (4) The guy who wouldn't be president of the Fez fan club hits a grand slam with Seattle +3 at increased juice. And I come up with +3-110. And Fez warns of its impending demise with a 4 weight at increased juice. Sports betting---what a career! See your guidance councellor and get involved now! (5) Pittsburgh +3-120 from Fez. I hit my own home run with a +3 Even which was totally an outlier earlier in the week. The Fez bet looks like a solid base hit. We're going to roll the lineup here. (6) Miami +10.5, Indy +10, St. Louis +14.5. It is Thanksgiving day sales on the "ugly" dogs out here. Some of you may not get quite as good but Miami +10 and St. Louis +14 might be in reach for some. (7) Sprinkle in +3 on Denver from the doctor and might as well just complete this mission with Jax +10 Ariz+13.5 will buy it to 14 for the hell of it and cross my fingers and hope to die to get the Browns +10. Or give in and just buy it to 10 with the few 9.5's out there. It is a big weekend no doubt about it. The esteemed market forces have spoken and they're on the dogs. It will be a rude punch in the gut if tomorrow is a losing day as the moves are strong. Huge opportunities for middles in games and "teaser" middles. Will any of it win? Good results often tend to come at this on significant "up" days. All of us who do this full time I think are hoping tomorrow is one of those days. There is always the next Sunday but this stuff is pretty good.
Enjoyed reading this....god bless the dogs tomorrow
What went right (1) The "ugly" dogs were overall good bets. St. Louis an easy cover. The Miami game yields a golden result. They cover the spread and the Giants cover teasers. For the trifecta Miami also covers the second half provided one bet +7.5 and not +7. The rogue +10 on the Colts loses but it had a lot of fight in it. It deserved to lose yet ample chances to get the push and convert with the Tennessee teasers. I didn't play it but the Jacksonville/Houston game should be good but not perfect result. Arizona +13 an easy winner and Minnesota hangs in and gets the upset as a dog. These are pretty good results for this group. (2) The Browns +10 shows in a few select spots at least in Reno. You get the push. Obviously disappointed to not get the winner here but a solid combo with San Fran teasers. (3) The Steelers easily get it done although the line move was against these guys. But I stuck with Pitt all the way. What went (terribly) wrong (1) The "sharp" big line movers on dogs. The Redskins, and Seattle just get throttled. A disaster really. A punt return TD hurts Seattle but somewhat of a deserved loser. Behind all game. I take it the back side with some Seattle +10 teasers that go out the window after the middle of the 4th quarter. The Redskins? I played back some Buffalo but a complete demolition. No Hightower, Cooley and Moss. What are all these sharp guys thinking? It has definitely gone wrong quickly for the Skins.....and the late afternoon was very quickly going wrong for me. (2) The Cowboys just manhandled on Sunday night TV. Late money on Eagles anyway. Worth a bet but not as confident at kick off as I was during the weekend and the results validate the unsure feeling. Looks like Vick's best game of the year. Eagles clicking. Not even getting entertainment and a game worth watching for lost money. (3) And the game that makes me angry. I liked Detroit myself today. I am with Merrill Hoge and the naysayers that Tebow in way over his head vs. the NFL. With that Detroit D line I just felt the gig will be up. But Dr. Bob and line move had me on the Broncos. Something about their D playing better and Tebow magic , blah blah. But the line move got crushed came way back as it should with a clear handicapping error to be on Denver. But I kept getting bargains on Denver. First at +3.5+105 and then the coup de grace at +4. My own fault for missing the move back on Detroit to have some more protection on this play. I think it adds up to a losing weekend from bet sizes and lost teasers and disappointing because actually a few things went right and I should have been off Denver at least to some degree.
Good summation Skeeter. If only you could have posted it BEFORE Sunday's games so I could have gotton off Seattle and Denver and Dallas and Washington and the Colts. Did hang with Pittsburgh but the way things were going didn't relax on that one until the final gun. At least I didn't fire on Drew Brees against the winless Rams. Entertaining to read all the emotional outbursts from our members that always follow a weekend like this last one - easy to see that there are lot of non-gamblers that follow this site, who call themselves gamblers. Gambling is not for the emotional weekend bettors. I've been doing this since high school and I'm 80 years old and love it would hate to think of life without a bet or two. Win-lose or push I'm in, and the mental health advisors tell me to do crossword puzzles to stay alert. Bullshit - just take Kansas City tonight and you'll stay cognizant.
