how to hedge this teaser?

how to hedge this teaser? i'm live to a teaser, last game is MNF, took PHL +9.5... should pay +395 (mix of 3 and 4 play teasers) what would be best way to hedge ?? i'm new to this...thanks
You should not
If it isn't life-changing money, let it ride. A negative EV bet is still negative EV.
If you want to give up a small amount of your +EV, you can take NO -7.5 for +195 or so. (You need to find "alternate lines" offered by many books). You would win both bets if NO wins by 8 or 9 and you could keep this -EV wager to a small amount, such as sufficient to cover your initial investment (or more if you prefer). I think that the basic question is what action would allow you to relax and enjoy the game!

Personally I think this just comes down to how much your risk is and how much you stand to win. Its a personal choice in this situation as to what amount of money you would be comfortable losing to guarantee a payoff. Since you are already in a very favorable position having +9.5, I am not sure I would hedge any amount. The "safe" play I think would be taking a small shot to cover some of your risk at NO -2.5 -115, but that is probably not the correct way mathematically to do this type of thing. Obviously I would be very surprised if the Eagles do not keep this one close and have a shot to win late. Saints D has been horrible. But in the NFL you never know. I think your position of +9.5 +395 is probably too favorable to hedge.
I would buy back about $50 on NO at-2.5....that would give you a good part of your i nvestment back if Philly doesn't cover the +9.5, still a good profit if Philly covers and better yet ------a good shot of collecting on both plays. My calcs arent as sophisticated a some here but I do OK on these ind of plays. good luck ...have fun.
Philly at +3 is the right side. Your teaser will win. Roll with it.
Thanks for the advice everyone....will let it ride..
