This was a poor play IMO at 4 stars and I have given enough credit to Fez handicapping when I see it so I hope I'm permitted some leeway here. The game gets to 3 perhaps worth a bet or a 1 or 2 unit play if you like them but I guess perhaps a tiny edge on that play and fortunately I wasn't logged it to see this for 4 stars with the late timing of the release.
This play lined up vs. sharp money that was all over the Redskins with their D line and sacking ability against that makeshift Rams O line. Sharp money sniffed this out during the week. Probably a horrible spot to be going 4 stars with a straight up play to be quite honest.
Obviously the end of the game could have gone differently and St. Louis could have rallied but quite honestly that beatdown they took it seems in their chance to tie the game was I felt the reason sharp money was all over Washington.
I'll make a comment that Fez has to be sometimes more of a strong situational handicapper and probably a winless team going into a break at home vs. a team on a short week is an attractive situation but the game never lined up any other way for Rams bettors.
We don't get commentary on the plays perhaps there is more to why St. Louis was a strong play but hard to infer. I would much rather have seen 4 stars on Miami than St. Louis not obviously just an opinion not that it mattered.
