This was the most puzzling of the day IMO.
They could have let them score on 1st down from the 4 and had almost 2 minutes to tie the game or win it with a 2 point conversion.
Instead they let Pitt run clock all the way down to 1 second, kick what was virtually an extra point (from the 1 yard line), and walk off the field with the win.

and yet you wont find a single reporter ask the coach that question, either because they are not smart enough or fear retribution....
if you are Texas...or VTech....or...some other cfb team with strong special teams....you can take a chance. Otherwise, play the odds and give your team the ball back
