If you had to pick only one game in the NFL this week (Week 7) who would it be?
Why? The line has risen, so what am I missing?
Minnesota is a very interesting team. They have scored at least 27 points in every game this year. Their numbers are average on offense and well below average on defense, especially in the passing game, yet they are 6-0. Some of that is because they have had big leads and allowed garbage yards at the end of games. The Rams had the ball inside the 10 yard line four times but turned it over. They lost Winfield last week and as soon as that happened Baltimore started picking on Paymah as his replacment. Winfield may not play this week (the more important game for Minnesota is next week at GB) and Pittsburgh can throw the ball so this could end up being a bad match up for Minnesota.
must win spot for the Steelers
Thanks, Ice and Sixth. I see now Pittsburgh is off an easy win and will have a bye. Minnesota is off a big win at Baltimore and will have a tough rematch at Green Bay. Clearly a good spot. They both beat Detroit and Cleveland. Minnesota beat St. Louis and Pittsburgh beat Tennessee. So both teams have had really soft schedules. Both have a good offense and average defense. So there is a lot of uncertainty and this could go either way.
