IND @ JAX Thursday nite... best way to bet this game is???? Hello again. Thanx for the info on my other Thread, the " Veteran cappers were right on SF over ARZ...how and why?". Now if you all will pardon me pushing my luck here, what would be the best way to bet this Thursday NFL special? I have tons of experience with the NFL, but am still one of the world's worst bettors. I do stupid things like teasers, pleasers, parlays, etc. Have had some huge paydays w/ parlays, but am still way behind in my lifetime. Goal is to be the best NFL handicapper in the business. Any info would be appreciated. Iron Man/Subby

Teasers, pleasers and parlays all have their own proper place in sports betting. Where to utilize them is where your ultimate success will lie: differentiating the "stupid" ones from the good ones. I cannot tell you, on a game-by-game basis, where to make +EV moves, but if you continue to follow Fezzik and the other handicappers on here you will soon learn their techniques in giving you the best advantage possible. Once you acquire these invaluable skills on your own, the sky is the limit. (Money management and personal lifestyle, notwithstanding!) WTS, I don't have an opinion on Thursday's game--but I sure in the hell like Dallas +7 1/2 and over 53 1/2 on Saturday. Good luck going forward, Iron Man/Subby. These divisional games always seem to be close. It seems the biggest problem that Indy always has with Jac is stopping them from running the ball. I still believe that the starters are going to play most of the game, it's not like it's the final week of the season. I've learned the hard way not to bet against Manning. I like Indy -3 but I like Under 43 even better.

I'd be very careful laying the big juice on the 3rd and 4th qtrs on JAX at this point.

I took Indy at pick for the game twice in the Hilton, and them for the 1st half, and game. Took the under 43 a few times
