Interesting NFL summer lines moves, money has shown for literally EVERY favorite Quite an interesting phenom! Ok, Caro/Philly flipped favorites to Philly, ditto for Denver/Cincy, so maybe I should say money has come on ALL 15 of the better teams.......
As I was reading my Football Outsiders Almanac (highly reccomend) yesterday I was thinking to myself there seems to be a lot of so called "good" teams and also a lot of really "bad" teams this year. There just doesn't seem to be nearly as many percieved .500 type teams that the NFL prides itself in. I am sure like every year a lot of that perception will change once the season starts rolling along. Also I think in the past 5 years or so the NFL isn't as big a "parity" league as most seem to think it is. It seems every year of late there are a solid 5-7 god awful teams or so that don't usually have a prayer on "any given Sunday".
cincy -1 was a nice sendout... the game is probably gonna close 5

There was a day when the backup QB would literally come in and give a team a shot of energy. Those QB's are far and few between now. The Starting Quarterbacks in the NFL have become so mechanical its ridiculous. You have a handful of Quarterbacks today that you can win with and the rest are garbage.
cincy -1 was a nice sendout... the game is probably gonna close 5
Denver could easily win. Palmer might not even play this week right? He averaged 4.7 Yards per attempt in the 4 games he played in last year. His timing could and most likely will be off. I could see Marshall suiting up for week 1. Orton is bad, but not as bad as he looked the other night. The Bears did have some high scoring games last year. I could see Denver going right into Cincy and shocking the world.
Mr. Cowboy, Although Mr. Orton's finger isn't broken, I hear he may not play. Palmer will (vs Denver) most certainly. U-N-D-E-R. Best, Londo
