The chances he is picked up by a team, but doesn't throw a pass easily makes this a great bet IMO.

I expect the media to, er, dogpile on whatever team signs him, and there are a slew of things that can keep Vick from throwing a pass if he does sign. And even if a team signs him and decides to use him in a game, who is to say that he will be throwing the ball? 6/1? I'd be all over it if I were there.

injuries could get a team to sign him even if dead against it now. for instance, what if Peyton Manning blew his knee out this week? what are the colts going to do for the year, give up? they might suddenly have a big interest in Vick the next morning. beats being hopeless before week 1. any team that picks him up likely would use him as a slash player and in a wildcat formation. he would have to throw a few passes at least, defense cant know everytime Vick comes in in wildcat, its always a run.

That is my questioning. How desperate will a team get when everyone in town is saying, "We need a star QB. Give Vick a chance." People throw morals out the window when it comes to money and NFL teams fall right in line.

Having Dungy in his corner helps him. and with the love of the Wildcat by many teams now, he could be brought in for those type of plays
