Do you follow the personal plays or just the computer plays or both?? Also, have you been following the MMA guy?? Says he is 17-3 this year.
OK, I've got some time now so I can respond - I can tell u the good & bad because I've been with him for a few years: I play all the plays - he recommends different amounts for each play type. He says play the overs twice as strong as personal plays, but I play them about 5 to 8 times stronger. These are a cash cow. I believe now 4-0 this year, 4-0 last year and over 80% for a number of years now. His personal plays have been decent, around ~60% this year but he had a very bad week last week from them so that probably knocked the % down into the upper 50s. He is possibly one of the more honest touts in the business. The bad is his website sucks in terms of design. But I buy the season pass and he just emails the plays. I do go to the site to confirm records, though. Even though i like him, I always confirm records. He does report accurately and his computer program's records are all correct. Here is a short story on how good he is with the totals - he was doing really good this year (+60%) until they changed the hitting rules and cracking down. His system started crapping out and not producing any good overs plays and the unders were losing left and right. So he sends out an email, explaining the rules changes on the program and how it messed the calculations up. He said he would work on a new program to account for the rules changes. He sends out plays the next 2 weeks: 4-1 each week. Last week he only lost one under by 1/2 point and won everything else. I don't know what math it takes to "fix" the program when the rules changed, but he knew how to do it and quickly.
As for the MMA guy, I've bought all his stuff except 1 week and asked Sharp to email me after the fights started to find out the card. He's 21-4 in what they call the "investment" plays, which are his big money plays, he also gives out action plays and is not 21-4 on those, more like breaking even. So I don't really even play the action unless it's a dog, I mainly look for investment plays. I'd say 90% of these investment plays are favorites, and the average he lays is probably -200. Sometimes less, sometimes more. So he is eating juice. Gunn, I think you missed on the -1,000 fight he had! I didn't touch it, but the guy did score a 1st round KO. Even with the losses though, so far he's netting roughly 20 units profit. Sharp says he has inside info, and i normally don't believe that crap but sharp has been nothing but honest with me over the years and there are 2 fights that stood out to me as him knowing something - one fight he had an under 9.5 rounds on, and one guy simply quit before the 9th round. I've never seen anything quite like it. Had to be a fix, I'm convinced. Announcers were stunned, the guy just didn't get up off his stool. The other fight was the Hopkins fight this weekend. The guy said to take Hopkins but also put some on "draw" because the judges were shady and he didn't trust them. Sure enough, hopkins was looking good and likely should have won but 2 judges called a draw and 1 gave it to hopkins, which is a majority draw. At my book I had +2500 on "draw" and made a huge payday from that advice. So overall, I hate laying such juice and I can't lay the amounts he suggests at times, but he is hitting very well and I've made some decent profit on his advice.
Like I said, I buy a few touts and don't do a ton of handicapping myself. Mainly reading forums, following those hot cappers, and paying for a few that are worth the money, and this guy is one of them. You don't have to know much about handicapping, just know who to follow.
