Is 1 a key number in NFL Preseason games? Heard this last year at the VI seminar and now that the preseason is here would like to know if this is the case.

yes. Overtime avoidance = 2 pt converts.

Yes, 1 is considered to be a "minor key number" along with 4, 6, 10, 13 and 14...
