Is it just me?

Is it just me? I know I get shot down a lot here. I'm not the most astute handicapper, but I am forever learning. I digress though... Is this game going to become flag football? Is every defender going to be concerned about leading with his helmet? Are these not our gladiators in a den of lions. Believe me- I don't want to see carnage- I don't want to see mean hits. But in the context of plays, some of these calls of leading with the head are just crap. If defenders aren't allowed to play, I believe we will see overs moving up about 2-3 points. There, I've made my stupid handicap statement, now I am ready to learn. Hit me
if they dont clean up the hits someone will die on the field in the next 3 to 5 years.
If the players don't stop juicing,s ome one will die in a few years anyway. I guess I give in and look more seriously at overs as a natural occurance.
I think the league is being especially strict right now so that the players can "learn" how to tackle again. Once this happens, and it has started to already, I think they will back off with some of the overboard calls........ maybe? Also, for those that say "this is football and this is how it was meant to be played" I dont think the guys that wore leather helmets back in the day propelled themselves at each other like human missles. I agree with what the league is doing, and Im a guy who grew up loving guys like Chuck Cecil, who made a career out of destroying WR's over the middle. These guys are just to big and to fast and their equipment should be used for what it was meant to be which is protection not a weapon.

HGH test needed
if they dont clean up the hits someone will die on the field in the next 3 to 5 years.
Testing for HGH would have the same effect. The game will immediately decline in violence. Of course, that will be the day Ray Lewis retires to "spend more time with my family".
considering some of the news coming out about how bad concussions can be, the NFL is trying to do what it can to cut down on the number of them. frankly, I disagree with guys like Harrison who are out there to hurt other guys and remove them from the game. that's not what the NFL is about IMO
what do you expect in this day and age? i see grown men pedaling their bicycles down the street at 5mph with their helmets on.
It'll pass. They're 'making a point' right now. By this time next year, the silly calls will have stopped and we'll mostly forget all about it.
what do you expect in this day and age? i see grown men pedaling their bicycles down the street at 5mph with their helmets on.
get hit by a car being driven by person who is too busy texting to pay attention to the road and he'll be glad he's wearing the helmet
it can happen while you are walking down the street too. everyone should walk around with a helmet on. walking around with a helmet would also protect you from unforeseen falling objects from the sky. maybe even wear a helmet indoors in case of a sudden earthquake. it could save you if the ceiling collapses on to your head.
