Is The Steeler Line Inflated Due To Big Ben?

Is The Steeler Line Inflated Due To Big Ben? Sure looks that way to me. I grabbed the Browns at + 14.5. You just don't give a division opponent 14.5 points. Obviously others think so also as the line is down to 13.5.
Ben's return. Revenge for awful loss to the Browns last year. Coming off a week of rest. Elite teams tend to smash bad opponents (steelers over Bucs for ex) Browns possibly playing a rookie QB in his first game Browns RB banged up and the other one traded this week 14 points seems like a lot until the score is about 28-3 late in the 4th.

"does this mean you're betting Pittsburgh?" I was just trying to answer a question. It's going to be interesting to see what Pittsburgh's game plan is going to be. The offensive coordinator took a lot of heat for not running the ball more often last year and there are many that are waiting to see what he's going to do now that Ben is back. But I've watched a few Browns games and it seems to me anyways that teams have more success against them when they spread the field and attack the depth in the secondary.

There are some respected bettors who never would lay anywhere close to two touchdowns in an NFL game. I would disagree using this game as a perfect example. The Browns are slow on defense. They are going to yield a fair share of points on the road to what is now a very balanced Pittsburgh attack. Offensively, the Browns may not score unless Josh Cribbs does something super on kick returns. Colt McCoy probably wouldn't even be on an NFL roster if he didn't have the big college reputation. During preseason, he committed four turnovers, was sacked six times, had no touchdown passes and his average pass was for 5.9 yards. And that was against fourth-string defenses. I could see the Steelers winning, 34-3.
This operates under the assumption that Big Ben is back. The under seems to be a safer bet.
"This operates under the assumption that Big Ben is back. The under seems to be a safer bet." Ben was ready when he came off the Bench for Maddox when he was a rookie. He'll be ready Sunday.
