Is there anything I would be more thankful for than the Lions being 86'd off of T-Day

Is there anything I would be more thankful for than the Lions being 86'd off of T-Day Yes... When the NFL gets the brains to NOT schedule the Raiders as a participant in the follow-up game! Pathetic. However, there is a silver lining in the schedule this week; as I think this is a great opportunity for a monster teaser payday (a lot of faves in possible letdown spots). 4 team 7-pt teaser: Denver +12 Houston +10.5 Chicago +17.5 (I can't believe Brett Farve is 9-1! I wrote him off after his NFC "regress to the mean" implosion vs BaGIANT'S G-men in the conference finale (throwing with reckless abandonment). KC +20.5 And after that hits (hopefully), I'm doubling down on everything I won last week with my NE 1st half bet I won on vs the Jets with New Orleans' "Super Bowl" part one (sorry I didn't post it (NE -7) but I was working long hours to meet a timeline) . This game is so much bigger for the saints than it is for NE, in my opinion. (Just another game for Big Game Tom & Co.) Furthermore, NE's D isn't nearly as good as it was in their SB years, and I think Drew Brees will exploit it. NO's -1 or 1.5--but I think this line will go down before it goes up. I'm locked and loaded ready to go, and I will be at my favorite stomping grounds, SMC (Spirit Mountain Casino), watching the Big Game; and if I lose the bet...I will be by my ole friend, the red, white and blue $100 slot machine as a bailout backup. ;) Good luck guys and have a great Thanksgiving dinner with your loved ones. LTK Slicks said it best: "Dimes a-plenty."
I miss Slicks. Loved his NBA picks.
You and me both... Always liked his posts. I have adopted his "in the moment" gambling philosophy, no doubt. "No guts, no glory." The Kelley criterion of making a few dollars--within my parameters--here and there doesn't appeal to me anymore. (I'd be up 20k, if I were lucky, in 2030! LOL) I've reached a threshold where I'm going to hit it "big" (20k or >) or I'm going to keep on chasing. ...The benefits of being a mid-forties single entrepreneur... Key: [single]
Slicks! Now that's a blast from the past!
i like it. they continue to be an easy fade
Needless to say you loved Dreamer's burning trucks. ;) I miss the photos. BOTOH, Anthony has cleaned up a lot of garbage that permeated the site in year's past.
