One of the most chickenshit calls I can ever remember seeing. The ref should be banished. To stack the outcome of a great game in that fashion is beyond comprehension, but we see so many unbelievable things in these games that we become desensitized for self preservation. Many Cuse fans
agreed that call cheapened the outcome of a great game. Even numerous gamblers having Syracuse commented on the call as they cashed their bets!
I saw somewhere that the kid was saluting his recently deceased Grandfather who was a wheelchair bound wounded and paralyzed WW2 Veteran. Supposed he'd of, imstead, dropped to his knee, pointed to the Heavens in acknowledging God for helping him make the catch???( like so many do ) Would that have drawn a penalty from this chump ref?? or would it have been been judged an acceptable salute of acknowedgment or thanks where he simply placed the ball on the 2 yard line???
