Blankenship vs. Hochman, who would be the no.16 seed? .....pk'm Seriously, Dave H is a nice guy, and it's great to see a recreational gambler in the field. Chris Moneymaker little guy vs the pros appeal. Lance B is just a DISASTER. He appeared as a regular on the LeRoy's show a while back, and said he expected a 'great' win rate. Got his butt kicked with awful selections. Now he is back, and talking about how he will be a regular guest giving 'expert' commentary. Mind boggling. He must have some photos of JK or the Salerno's and is blackmailing them to allow him to be on the show. Stat Fox Steve has some talent, but he suffers badly from trenditis. Spouts off a zillion Z-test reasons Boise is a great play -13.5. Never mind the market opens -10.5, closes -12, and he magically finds a way to lay -13.5. Good grief. Good trends aren't going to win for you when you cannot read the market a lick, and you ignore power ratings.

Update after Saturday.... Both players were 4-3, but Blankenship covered his covered his best bet and Makinen did not, which is the tie breaker, so Blankenship moves on faceoff against Adam Meyer in their semifinal match on December 11th. Next week is the much anticipated Fezzik vs. Shrink match, which is the other semifinal matchup.
