Les Miles - Amazing End Game Stupidity

Les Miles - Amazing End Game Stupidity Here we go again. Recover onsides with minute to go down 25-23. Get 1D at 30, well in range of kicker who has already hit a 52FG and is one of best in the nation. About 40 seconds, 2 TO's. They try pass and QB almost gets sacked but INC pass. So tries another pass on 2D, yep, sack back to 42. TO. Try screen pass on 3D, lose another 10 back to 50. 17 seconds to go but they don't take their final TO until 9 secs left. So On 4th & 26 from 50 they hit a pass down to 5 with 1 sec left - clock stops for 1D, instead of trotting FG team on (having it ready to go), or trying a play, they snap and ground ball, game over. About 3 gross errors here. Could not believe what I was watching.
Yes, with out question poor clock mgmt and poor coaching. Heads may roll.
Most unbelieveably mismanaged ending to a game I've ever seen. With 1 sec on the clock he has the QB ground the ball rather than try a pass from the 6 yd line???
Taking the snap with 1 second on the clock and spiking the ball... If I didn't see it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. And as the previous poster stated, this was the culmination of an entire series of mind-boggling plays reminiscent of the Keystone Cops. Truly unbelievable!

"17 seconds to go but they don't take their final TO until 9 secs left." could have easily gotten the TO in by 24 seconds left
Hard, wow, even worse - I got a call and was distracted some but remember seeing 16 for sure - amazing.
I truly believe alot of coaches go into this freeze mode late in games, as if there brain stops working, on the field and the booth, they can practice all they want but if you freeze anything can come out
If any dumb coach has lived a charmed life up till now, it's Miles. It will be interesting to see what goes down from here. LSU doesn't look like they can out talent people in the near term.
So many blunders by Les in the last minute of that game. Didn't help having Jefferson as the qb (young, dumb, and athletic)
michigan man...its to be expected
