A little old news but Lions may not have a QB after Stafford plays this week

A little old news but Lions may not have a QB after Stafford plays this week This starting coming across the wires about 3 -4 hours ago, so not sure where this loses it's value. Line has moved up to -3 everywhere as Culpepper just had stitches put in his toe from an "at home incident" and Drew Stanton has a "badly swollen knee". Neither practiced today and you would have to think neither is worth the risk of playing in this one. Today they give QB Matt Stafford all the reps in practice including all the scout team snaps also and they supposedly cut out 20 percent of the practice plan because of all this according to head coach Jim Schwartz. Neither injury seems very serious but with game 4 of the preseason being a game where starters play only a series or two where would that leave the Lions in this one? They can't afford to play Stafford much more then a quarter or so can they? He is looking more and more like the frontrunner for the opening day starting job. Do they actually bring someone in for 2 days to play this game? Maybe but doubt it. Obviously if this was a regular season game the Lions would grab a QB but with it being so late in the week (the game is Thursday) and this game being completely meaningless, the rumor is that punter Nick Harris or another emergency QB (maybe WR Derrick Willaims)may take quite a few snaps in this one. You would have to believe this would mean a lot of running plays and the Lions doing anything to just get out of town with all their QB's still intact. If there was ever a time to see a punter or WR play some QB, this may be the game. If this is the case it's hard to see how the Lions score after Stafford comes out of the game or even get first downs for that matter, LOL. Still some value with Bills -3? I would think so. (Damn just made a 1k max bet at Pinny and line is now -119, didn't take much. Hilton looks like it may still be at -110 if my line service is correct).
Stanton had minor knee surgery today and Culpepper sat out of practice and it's looking very unlikely he will play this coming game. Lions signed Brooks Bolinger today and word is he will play at least the whole 2nd half in this one.
They said Stafford will get about 25 plays, and then once he's out, the Lions will use whoever (it doesn't really matter), just to run basic plays.
