Love this Matt Stafford prop tonight... Matt Stafford OVER 266.5 passing yards (-115) Stafford has gone for 294+ in every game but one so far this year, and it's worth noting that the Lions have played only one home game thus far. Meanwhile, the Bears have allowed an average of 301 passing yards per game this year (29th in the NFL), including an average of 333 yards in their last two games. Have to think Stafford & Company light it up tonight.

Are they afraid to run with Best with the lead? I bring this up because come-from-behind victories and close games feature a lot of passing. If the Lions play as expected, then the second half may not feature a lot of passing. A good hedge for this bet would be one of those adjusted lines where you get plus money for betting the Lions -14. (What are those called?)

If the Lions get out to that kind of lead, i'd have to think that they'll do it via the passing game, so that would have to be considered a positive, i think. But i know what you're saying. I wouldn't mind seeing the Bears score some points tonight (although i did lay -5 with the Lions earlier in the week). FWIW, i also played Stafford OVER 2.5 touchdowns (+170) and Calvin Johnson OVER 6 receptions (-115). Both smaller than the yardage prop though.
