Lucky's has 1 College Game Of The Year, Kind Of I was in beautiful sunny downtown Las Vegas yesterday betting the Golden Nugget College Game Of The Years.
They told me Luckys had a line on the Boise/VT game. Happily, I strolled over and inquired about what the rotation number was on the game. The helpful manager found the sheet promptly, and I gave the writer the rotation number.
Uh-oh. Coin jam . Call attendant.
I was told that game is "off". I asked the manager to call the hotline back in Reno, and find out why in the world ONE DAMN GAME with no injuries would be off.
"No reply at all. No reply at all. Is anyone out there? No reply at all".
Seriously, they just told the Plaza manager "The game is off, he cannot bet it".
Now I hear the game is back on and I am welcome to bet it. I'll just hop in my Helicopter and head back down to make 1 bet on a game with a dime limit.
On a related note, the economy is bad. Business is slow. Unemployment is 14% in Nevada. Yet, I see LOTS of professionals in this business that I just cannot understand how they can keep their jobs the way they treat customers.
