LVASports is open

Looks like the custom avatar upload feature isn't working yet. Oops - I see it does work, but it gives an error message.
When I log in, my username is remembered. However, I must still type the 14 digit password to enter the forum. How am I able to have my password saved without having to go through that process each time? I tried to re-register,but that didn't work.Obviously, I am doing something wrong. If someone could walk me through the steps of changing my password and having it saved,it would be most appreciated.
I'm pretty sure this is going to be a browser issue, not a site one. Somewhere in your browser Options section there should be an option to save or remember password, which looks like you have disabled at the moment.
Ok, here's the specifics of the login issue -- CharlieJ, let us know if this is the problem you're having. When I reply to a thread, I have my options set so that I receive instant email notification if a thread has been replied to. When I get that email and click on the link, it is "fezzikplace.com/somethingsomething" instead of "lvasportsboards.com/somethingsomething".....I have to login each time if I go to the fezzikplace.com address.
As the several tech-savvy among you probably realize, the whole LVA family of websites currently reside on in-house servers and are coded in ColdFusion, neither of which is an ideal situation. However, since that's what we started with (before we knew better), we had to stick with it for awhile and longer than we wanted. While moves have been (and continue to be) made to address this situation, we've simply run up against a lot of bad luck on more than one attempt to change it. We're at it again now and taking things in sections as priorities dictate (as you can see with this effort), but that creates some other problems. Namely, while we're aware of improvements that should be implemented, some of these things can't be done immediately, because we're not in-house proficient in the code for this forum platform and are on a learning curve right now. Some things will have to wait for a contracted design improvement that will also encompass our plans to build out LVASports into a bigger content-driven entity, but they can't all be done on the fly. Point is, we want you to keep pointing out the potential for improvement. We'll make the changes that we can right now and the rest as soon as possible. And all of you helping each other also goes a long way. Thanks.

As others as said, the not saving your password is a browser issue. Also, don't forget to check the 'remember me' box.
Nice ads. I wonder who made them.
We'll let you know. And as of now, the passwords we gave you were to help us with some in-house control. I think you'll be able to change them to your preference soon.
I was able to change my password already. With that and checking the "remember me" box I've had zero problems gaining and maintaining access.
Thanks guys. I was able to change my password. However, for some reason, I still have to type in my new, shorter password.I checked the "remember me" box,but it still doesn't work. Since I have no "log-in" problems on any other site, I can't believe that my browser is causing the problem. On at least a dozen other sites,my username and password come up immediately when I access the website. There must be something unique about signing in on this new website.Of course, it is highly possible that I don't know what the hell I am doing ( this option is at least a -200 favorite).
Just noticed - no PMs?
Should we? Source of many problems in the past. I get crap on them all the time -- Dan Gordon diatribes and the like. They don't bother me. Do you want them activated?
