Metrodome roof...
Why don't they just play at the college stadium. Storm will be gone by mid day today. Easy to play in MN tomorrow.
I believe the college stadium had been shut down for the winter so it would take a little time to get it ready. Also, the Giants didn't bring anything to play outside. They brought equipment to play in a dome. They may be able to use the Gophers stadium for next weeks game against the Bears. Tried to get out of Minnesota yesterday to fly to Vegas. Never made it. Finally made it for the second set of games on Sunday. Worse storm I have ever seen in the winter. Absolutely brutal.
Worse storm I have ever seen in the winter. I just got my tickets for the game tnite and u r right people are jacked up for the game. Good thing it's inside cause it's about 15 degrees outside. This game could be close to a sellout and should be a good mix of giants and vikes fans.

Great way for people who could never afford to see a game get a chance to watch and NFL game. And, some pretty good players on the field too.

Game is now a sellout! It sold out in 90 minutes. Talk about some hungry fans
This has the makings of a crazy time tonight. Admission is free, either by using your ticket stub for yesterday's game, or by showing up at the Ford Field box office by 9am to get free tickets. Well, people started showing up at 6am at Ford Field looking for their free tickets. They were wrapped around three quarters the way around Ford Field. Keep in mind, we had 8 inches of snow here, it was 12 degrees out, and windchills below zero. Once you got to the window, they were giving 4 tickets out to each person. People were then going from window to window getting as much as 16 tickets each. They ran out at 9:40am, running out of tickets then. Afterwards, there were reports of people scalping tickets to those who got shut out at the end of the line. If you go to Detroit Craigslist, there are endless postings of tickets available for sale, for something that was meant to be free. The intention was for the Lions/NFL to give people the opportunity to witness and experience NFL football who might have otherwise never had a chance to go. A lot of those people got shut out. There is open seating. It it going to be crazy to get to your seat, then if you get up to get something to eat, your seat may have someone else in it by the time you return. It will be very interesting to see the scene when this all takes place.
