MLB "Statement" Plays 08/10/09 I'm moving my daily baseball thread that was being posted over at SFW to here. I'm very impressed with the kindness showed at this site thus far and hope these plays continue at close to the rate of return they have showed over there. I love "members" site, just too many trolls and stalkers that don't get admonished IMO. I will still try and post any good info I receive over there (and here) because I respect and appreciate a lot of the posters there, but day to day I will be posting my specialties (NBA & MLB) here. I don't give write-ups anymore as I have in year's past because of numerous reasons...time on a day to day basis being most prevalent. Nonetheless, my record is in bold below (Taken from the short history of SFW to date) and if anyone wants to verify over there feel welcome to. [B]Overall MLB SFW 29-18 for a total profit of +18.05 Units[/B] Since both new sites (This and SFW) opened relatively at the same time I will use my record and transfer it going forward here. As far as the "statement" plays monikor.....absolutely nothing to it but a funny monikor that a buddy of mine used to say that I always found kind of comical. NYY ML-143 A's ML+122 Marlins ML-146 Cardinals -1.5 runs+125 Mets ML+146 All pitchers in all games listed. Burg

[B]3-2 on the night for a total profit of +1.04 Units LVA/SFW Overall 32-20 for a total profit of +19.09 Units[/B] Hurt mis-reading market on A's as waiting until afternoon today would have netted another .20 units, however I beat the close on Florida (Which didn't come into play as it won) and the Mets (Which didn't come into play because it lost). Yankees would have been nice to catch and the opportunity was there with the early lead and then their bullpen keeping them within 1 for several innings...just couldn't get anything going with the bats late. Oh well...on to Tuesday... burg

I don't blame you for grabbing Oakland overnight, I ended up with +147 and it went even higher then that. # was way off imo.

Burger, appreciate the sentiment and thanks for bringing this content. That's the idea here, to keep it civil. If a basher comes and gets bounced, he winds up losing $24.95 for nothing (because his posts won't even stay up). They won't fade that.
