Mls 8/9 Houston @ Chicago UNDER 2.5 –130 (2-UNITS)
The Fire has really been on a roll lately with their defense. They have recorded four consecutive shut outs in MLS games. The Dynamo defense has been strong all season and currently is the MLS’s top team on defense only yielding 18 goals in 21 games. The Fire’s top goal scorer Brian McBride is out for the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury. The Dynamo also comes into this game with some concern with the offense. In Wednesday’s game against Dallas the offense could only register one shot on goal. Leading goal scorer Brian Ching had to be substituted at 45’ due to fatigue and I don’t think he will be able to go a full 90 on short rest. Midfielder Brad Davis who is also tied for third in goals scored was red carded and will sit this one out. Kie Kamara who is tied for third in goals scored is listed as questionable with a quad strain. In Wednesday’s game against Dallas, Kamara to me did not seem to have the quickness he displayed earlier this season and was hardly a threat. Earlier this season these teams met and played to a 1-0 game where not much offense was generated. In that game the Dynamo only had one shot on goal and the Fire could only generated two total shots on goal. Tonight’s game will have several key offensive minded players out and we should have another low scoring game.
