What is Adam's beef with Leroy's?

listened to it - poor meyer got fucked - it did not help that he had to phone in his selections - i'd think meyer would be good for the money - it's more about ego and trying to up his name in the business - the money to a guy like meyer is secondry at this moment in time

Wow 2 to 1 is pretty ridiculous. Maybe I have my math wrong, but if you take the stance that Fez is a 50% coinflipper, he needs to pick over 64% consistently to have the edge... Of course I'm sure it's not about positive expected value. If you add in economic thinking and the additional customer fees that could be generated with a win, then maybe it starts to make sense.

It's clearly +EV for both Fezzik and Meyer. If he wins, Meyer will claim he was the "true" winner. If he loses, Meyer will do what all touts do: forget about it. BTW, I don't like Meyer's card at all, but anything can happen in a seven game contest.

if nobody is holding that guy's money, i could make a solid argument that this could be -ev, even at +200. i know he has some radio show, is a tout and has spent 5k to enter the money talks tourney but that doesnt mean he is well funded. what is the assurance that he will cover his end of the deal? i would never trust a person like this meyer character. money up front for a jag-off guy like that.

I don't know Meyer so I apologize for ignorance up front. But seems to me there is way to much hate for him on this board. What has he done to anyone besides tout his picks?
