My 2h CBB Model

Leaving it up till our IT can take a look, then we'll take it down.
Leaving it up till our IT can take a look, then we'll take it down.
Save a link to it, don't leave the link in the first post of the thread for people to download it without reading the thread. Pretend it's a YTD record or something.
Weird that that is what happened. Helmut didn't say something like "visit me and my Russian friends on our webcams" or anything like that. More likely there is something wrong with Sendspace. I better stop here because I'm liable to go off on a pro-Mac tangent.

does the virus occur if you download the file or only if you actually execute the file?
I think when it's downloaded...
does the virus occur if you download the file or only if you actually execute the file?
I think all you have to do is download it. It's a very dangerous virus and it would be well worth your time to download the free scanner from the "a squared free" website. If you downloaded the "Helmut" file, I'll bet the scanner will find that it's on your computer even if you didn't execute the file.
does the virus occur if you download the file or only if you actually execute the file?
No, you would actually have to open the file, but it's never a bad idea to run a scan on your computer anyway. Invariably you've clicked on something over the years that's given your computer an issue of some sort.
That link was indeed a trojan virus, and I was dumb enough to click on it. My email address was hacked into today, password changed, alternate email changed, and security question changed. Fortunately I was able to get back in and change everything back. I had to change all the passwords for my online accounts, bank accounts, etc., a freakin headache. I don't know the motives for the person breaking into my email. None of my accounts had any unauthorized activity. The hacker changed the alternate email on my account to [email protected]. Is anyone familiar with this email address?

I've changed all my on-line and banking passwords and have cleaned the virus off my machine but I don't know how to change my E-mail password. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
