Dude, don't you feel same way about Pro's too - Balt, Indy, Minn are all WAY down this year. From my perspective, only Pitt, NYG & Jets have potential to dominate an offense anymore. Think it is the evolution of the game and rule changes.
Agree in college - Bama is young and we'll see how they do vs Auburn coming up - my guess is they won't be able to stop them either. Who knows with Boise and TCU yet - would like to see them vs. Org, Auburn, etc. I just don't know if there is a defense out there that can stop Oregon and Auburn. I don't see it - can you imagine what Oregon will do to Washington's run defense
It really seems to me there are no dominant defensive lineman anymore, who can blow up defenses and really make teams pay for using the spread - Suh was one of a kind. Hard to find in pros too. Alot has to do with scholarship limits and kids wanting to play right away - it used to be automatic that Texas would shut down soft teams like TT and Baylor with superior DLine and athletes in space - no more it seems.
