Name 1 team with a GREAT defense in CFB

i think jeff has it right...except its hard to say how tcu would do against oregon or auburn..both seem UNSTOPPABLE so far..especially oregon, USC has a pretty good def cord. and everything did couldnt stop em when ducks wanted to go in

Totally disagree with Ohio St being a great defensive team. Both Miami and Wisconsin moved the ball against them like a knife through hot butter. This is not the OSU defense of last year and certainly not the Oregon offense of last year either. I LOVE Stanford and Harbaugh and Oregon made me a believer in that game. I just layed the 27' against Wash and think Oregon can name their score if they decide to. Bama can beat Auburn and Oregon can be had on the road if they make errors. You just don't know about TCU and Boise yet unfortunately - can't wait to see Boise vs Hawaii and Nevada. But if this were to hold, Oregon vs Auburn would be one exciting game. Just my opinion of course.

TCU probably is the best.

orest didnt have much problems with TCU defense which lends me to believe they are quite good but not great no defense will be great every week.

TCU's strength of their defense is against the pass which could be why the Beavers did well in game 1. Against the pass there is no one better in the nation.
