-Have a side bet with Fezzik that this line closes -13
or higher at LVH. Right now it sits at -12.5 so I'd owe
him a dinner if game kicked off now. Still think the public
will push this up. Hope I'm right. Big Macs are expensive
unless you show up on Mondays for the $1.25 special.
205 Philly -1 @ GBay
-Everything about this game screams Packers - except
Seneca Wallace. It's more of a case of sell the Eagles high
off a career day by their young QB. Clay Mathews is back
and the Packers are 25-4 @ Lambeau over the last 4 seasons.
Off a loss they are a tough go-against no matter who the QB is.
The money has been all Eagles though and you can now tease
GBay +1.5 at some shops.
207 Buff +3EV @ Pitt
-All the money has been on Buff so far. 3.5s were taken out Tuesday.
Now it's bleeding down to 2.5. Big Ben is a little cranky with the way
things are being run and OKed the Steelers to explore trade options.
DC Dick LeBeau is 16-2 going vs rookie QBs and I'm guessing may be
perfect at home. EJ Manuel is coming off a 5 week layoff and this Pitt
defense, which is a veteran bunch, were embarrassed at NE last week.
I'm going to dump my +3.5 position and go over the top on Steelers
MLine or -2.5.
209 Oak +7 @ NYGiants
-Probably my biggest teaser position of the week is the GMen. Giants
off a bye and two straight wins. Raiders are in a tailspin and McFadden
is already ruled OUT for this game. Cross-country, early start time etc.
MLine is -330 or so which is the redirect to the teaser if looking to avoid
laying 7 points.
211 St Louis +8 @ Indy
-Lots of play on Rams has pushed this down into teaser range on Colts.
If you missed the 10, 9.5 and 9 on the Rams you are buying late for less
on Sun morning. CRIS and offshore now showing 7.5.
213 Sea -4 @ Atlanta
-Same story on this game. If taking points today you missed the boat.
Game was +6 for a long while. Atlanta +3.5 -115 at CRIS. Roddy White
will play but if he isn't healthy that's one step forward and two steps back
based on his previous gut-it-out appearances this year.
215 Cin PK @ Balt
-Both defenses are sporting good stats. Division game but the urgency
is all with Baltimore. Lose this one to the first place Bengals and their
season is done. Balt home success is well documented and makes
teasing the Ravens a good option.
217 Det PK @ Chicago
-Cutler is back but is he ready and a better option? Line moved from
Det -2 to PK on the news of his return. Bears defense still has same
issues and are coming off a MNF game - Lions are rested off their bye.
