NFL Teams versus NCAA Teams This is a hackneyed subject, but it will be illuminate the different, um, perspectives on this board. So I ask professional bettors to avoid posting too quickly. Who would win if the worst NFL team played the best college football team? What would be a fair pointspread on the game?

Florida Atlantic -6.5 vs Raiders

Raiders-Alabama under 38.

Raiders -14' vs Florida also, Brazil -.25 vs Barcelona avg. NBA starters vs avg. NBA bench? This one can be solved mathematically.

You could go back in time and extrapolate from rookie play in the NBA how much their play suffers from the step up, and then note how much better they were than their teammates in college, and from that figure out how much better an average NBA team is compared to a college team, and from there, how much better the worst NBA team is compared to the best college team, and then apply that difference to the NFL/CFB debate. I'm just saying, it doesn't have to be so much of a guessing game. In the meantime, I would just barely take Florida +21 vs Oakland, and would LOVE to see the game.

I would take Oakland minus about 30 vs FL. It would not be close.

Maybe OAk -130 I assure you, Fla would cover +20 much less +30. Don't assume you can just power rate each player. The Raiders schemes and coaching and QBing is so poor, Fla would be heard from.

I think the Raiders would be faster at just about every position if not EVERY position. THis is how the Floridas of the world beat the western Floridas of the world by 40-50+ every time
