NFL total

NFL total We played Minn/Pitt over 45. I made the number 47.5 on this contest.Pittsburgh can officially be called a passing team. Roethlisberger leads the NFL with 1887 passing yards and Hines Ward leads receivers with 599 receiving yards. The Steelers will be going against the 24th ranked pass defense. Minny has given up an average of 355 passing yards in their last 3 games. In addition, the Vikings' best db,Antoine Winfield, has not been able to practice because of a foot injury. The Steelers have played 4 consecutive"overs" and are 5-0 "over" when they play against a good team ( operationally defined as having a winning percentage of .667 or better). In the last 60 Pittsburgh home games, the "over" has cashed 42 times. Minnesota will going against a Steelers' defense minus one of their best D-linemen, Aaron Smith. In addition, all-pro safety,Polamalu, has been held out of some practices this week. Even though I expect him to play, he is still not at 100%.The Vikings are 25-11 "over" when they play on the road versus a team with a winning record. In addition, they are 15-8 "over" on the road after allowing 28+ points in their last game. The Vikings are currently the second highest scoring team in the NFL (31.5 ppg). They have played 4 consecutive "overs" and are 5-1 "over" for the season. When installed as a road dog, the "over" has cashed in 7 of their last 8 games in this role. The Vikings are also 7-1 "over" when playing on grass. After passing for over 250 yds in their last game, the over has now cashed 9 consecutive times in Minnesota matchups. As of today, the current weather forecast for Sunday's contest is temps in the high 40's, an 11% chance of rain and winds of 5 mph. Good luck, charliej
Ok Charlie, I am in!
I bet over 44.5, but am just now realizing that the field is gonna be shit. That's bad turf, it will be very rainy over the next fews days, and Pitt plays there on Saturday.
They resodded the field this week. But I'm not sure that will matter much.

We put the total at 43. Good luck.
Crappy field that you guys are suggesting tends to workout very well for over players due to def line players just can't get off the line to power rush. Good luck!
Asking?? Is this a classic case for the "eight of clubs fade"? Original open 44.5 Pincle has 45 on Thur Now at 46 - not to mention the field condition possibilities noted above? Your thoughts?
I think the number goes higher. Think 48 is about right. Bad field if the ball is dry is very bad for the defense in NFL games. In college, it will hurt a fast team (A really fast team does not have as big an advantage on a crappy field). In the NFL everyone is equally fast (except maybe the rams) so if footing is bad it hurts the Dline and def backs who slip. Sean
