437, I really feel bad for AP, Favre is gonna get what he has coming to him.
It's natural to be contrarian when ESPN pounds Randy Moss in your ear all day, but isn't there a way better chance he gives a top effort trying to show up New England and play for a contract? Now, what exactly that is gonna amount to with Favre throwing him the ball.. I dunno. But I think Moss shows up.

Moss gives total effort, at least for his first few games with Vikes.
Both Favre and Moss will give everything as long as things are going well. If they have success early, all is good. If they don't have success, which could happen because the schedule is tough, they will quit. Seen it too often with both of these guys. By quit, I don't mean retire but you will not get their best efforts. Maybe more effort with Moss, playing for a contract, but Favre will shut it down. Not saying this will happen because as long as they are in it, these two will play hard.
I agree Scott. I gotta think the Vikings as a whole realize it's this season or bust. Would not be surprising to see them make a strong push down the stretch if they stay in it, or mail it in if things turn south.

Jay cutler out, Todd Collins starting
Sixth - what do you think of your Packers this week?
Very tough situation for them this week. They are hurting big time on defense. They may be okay in a few weeks if Harris and Bigby can come back after their PUP time is up but until then, the defense is getting thin. They are already thin on the defensive line but that might be the most stable position they have with Neal coming back. At linebacker, they are missing Chillar and now Barnett (who is the quarterback of the linebackers) is probably gone for the season. Matthews is obviously a beast but the rest are okay players. The secondary is still strong at the cornerbacks with Williams and Woodson but Burnett is now lost for the season at safety and he was replacing Bigby who is on the PUP so they go deeper into their backups there. GB could certainly out score Washington and win this game but I will probably be on Washington and may hedge with the over because I have to believe Washington will be able to put up points.
