NFL wimp league

How have fans managed to get to every NFL game until today in snow? How do people get to ski resorts, etc? Sure - there are times when it is a complete white out and you have to wait a bit before driving, but somehow for 30+ years, the NFL has managed in snow. Based on the videos on TV today, it was not a complete white out and one could drive.
Also, thanks for the comment on my handicapping. I realize driving in a blizzard can be dangerous and you must do it slowly, stop at white outs, prefer 4WD, etc but I'm sick of having people regulate everything - NFL worried, no game. Government - laws to wear seatbelts, etc.. Soon they will tell us what to wipe our butts with.

So the last 100+ decisions to play in snow were bad ones?
So the last 100+ decisions to play in snow were bad ones?
I think the difference here is the intensity of the storm. I have lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin for nearly all my life so am very used to snow storms. We had a storm last Monday when the Vikings played the Bears. That was just a snow storm. When you say the last 100+ storms, the one two weeks ago that cancelled the Vikings/Giants game and I assume the same type of storm predicted to hit Philadelphia were not normal storms. That storm was the worse I have ever seen. If they were predicting 15 inches and winds in the 30 mph, that would be close to what we had. I can tell you from recent experience you wouldn't want people trying to get to that game. A storm with 6-10 inches is not a big deal.
If there were a National Wimp League, jefff could be the commissioner!
If there were a National Wimp League, jefff could be the commissioner!
so now we're taking personal shots here? would that make you commish of the national a$$h0l3 league? i mean, come on. this is silly to be childish and saying things about me. you dont even know me except for a few posts on this board. i assume you guys will complain now that Fordham and GTech cancelled their CBB game? Screw grounding planes. Get them in the air so we can have a CBB game at 12 ET today!
I have to remember that spelling of a-hole, very good. Regarding this thread, let's agree that we disagree - and move on. We aren't getting anywhere, and this discussion is headed toward the gutter, not a good thing. Back to handicapping everyone.
COLD EMERGENCY ! ! ! chicago @ green bay forecast = 16 degrees CANCEL! CANCEL!
The Minnesota game would not have been canceled had the Giants not been stuck in KC. It's one thing when a team can;t get there. ITs another in my view to worry about driving. But everyone has opinions and none are definitively correct.
