NHL Total for Tuesday Nite I know that I have already stated here that what I do is play Totals in all sports. That is about all I do because it is the easiest thing to manipulate and of course the reason why books have limits on most all of them. I have put together models for each and they have been updated and tweeked over the years a number of times. Most recently over the last few years results have been very good.
With that being said, it is does not mean that I have all of the answers so please give me input when you have some thoughts. Posted Totals here are now 5-1 after the win last night on the Grizzlies/Kings Over.
The Penguins travel to Anaheim following a home loss to the Wild and the term "Breathing Smoke" probably applies here. Scoring goals tonight against the Ducks should not be a problem with the home guys experiencing serious defensive woes this year. For what they lack in stopping opponents, the Ducks have made up with their offensive talent recently, averaging 4 gpg over their last 4 played. Hiller is very likely to be tending the net tonight for the Ducks and that is only going to help our cause. I have this one handicapped at 6.55 Goals and good enough to bet it.
