NJ Nets +7.5 vs Cha 0.5 units
First thing, NJ is no worse without Devin Harris then they were with him. He was already hobbled by his groin injury. He hurt himself back in October, and it finally got to the point he couldn't keep playing. His numbers were suffering anyway.
Rafer Alston is actually a big improvement over a hobbled Harris, and frankly, I don't think Charlotte can score enough to give themselves a good chance to cover.
In what may be a low-scoring, painful, excruciating, unwatchable game, I think the Nets have a good chance to stay within 7.5 points of the Bobcats.
