i propose that next year, M or others offer a contest that uses real dynamic lines rather than stale contest lines. these old fashioned "parlay card" style contests are about as strategic as a game of chutes and ladders. they demonstrate any high degree of handicapping skill, imho. have the players fill in 5 plays for the week that can be entered at any time during the week using the current lines that are posted. handicappers would be rewarded for detecting and picking off soft early and midweek numbers rather than a battle of 30%+ entrants picking off stale prices at the contest deadline...let the contest players build a real portfolio and not an obvious portfolio of stale card numbers. seems like a good idea to me.
